What is the difference between bandwidth and storage?

Think of bandwidth as it refers to how much traffic is allowed to travel through the pipeline to your site. So, why is it not unlimited? Just like an entrance ramp on the highway, only so many cars can get on it at one time. So, we do set limits on that so that high traffic sites don’t plug up that passageway and slow down visitors to your site.

Storage is the amount of space allotted on the web server to store your site, email messages and databases.
